On March 14th, join us after the service for a fundraising taste of PLUMPY NUT ($1.00 per taste). This is vitamin-fortified, peanut-buttery goo. In emergency feeding clinics, this miracle food helps children bounce back from severe malnutrition. During the famine, one spoonful of PLUMPY NUT, plus juice and water, will be the ONLY things the youth will consume.
If you would like to make a donation to support our youth in this project, we’ll be set up after the service downstairs. Thank you! |

On March 19th and 20th, the youth group will be participating in a 30-Hour Famine. This is a worldwide movement of students who are serious about serving God and fighting hunger - all on an empty stomach. For 30 hours, participants get a taste of hunger by not eating
- something more than a billion people around the world experience every day. And by doing fundraising activities, community service projects, and learning more about the facts of world hunger, students are changed in amazing ways as they help others and save lives. |

Be in the dining room on March 20 at 6:00 p.m. for a visit to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We will enjoy a German dinner, prepared by Liehs and Steigerwald, and a guest from a Germanic country will be seated at each table.
The guests are Rotary exchange students who are spending the year in our area. Following dinner they will make brief presentations. The cost is $10.50 per person.
This event is open to the entire church. See a committee member to make your reservation: Chuck/Janet Brooks (635-6416), Rev. Voigt/Beverly Archer (457-7966), Olivia Oyer-Halen (652-3917), Earl Crego (635-1440) or Norma Widmann (638-4786). |
