Yoga Classes at BFUMC
Beginning Wednesday, January 16
Yoga means union of body and mind. It can lower stress, which is toxic to overall health and wellbeing. Many studies prove that practicing yoga, relaxation, and meditation can benefit all age groups. This is a safe environment with sensitivity to the needs of each student. All are welcome at any level of experience. My yoga practice is for the average person. You do not have to be excessively flexible to enjoy this class. Classes will end with a moment of gratitude and a closing prayer. Please bring a blanket and water bottle.
Adult Yoga: $10 per class or 6 classes for $50 and each additional member of a family can bring a non-perishable food item per class for the food pantry. Drop in for $10.
Wednesdays: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.: very gentle class, appropriate for older folks
5:30 – 6:30 p.m.: for teens through adults
Children’s Yoga (ages 4-12): $5 per class or 6 classes for $25 and each additional member of a family can bring a non-perishable food item per class for the food pantry. Drop-in for $5.
Wednesdays: 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Checks should be made out to “Baldwinsville FUMC”.
Families are encouraged to come together, that is why the food pantry option is available. This is a safe sanctuary. Please be aware - if the church office is closed, the building doors will be locked, so please be on time for class. Join our group on Facebook: Yoga at Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church.
